Friends,

The beer cans and hotdogs have only just been removed from the field, but we already know of the tremendous success that Spittoono XXVIII was. While we do not know the exact amount yet, we are thrilled to announce that we have broken each record set in previous years – by giant amounts. With the help of Budweiser of Greenville, the Rise Guys on 93.3 the Planet as well as WYFF4, The Anderson Independent, The Greenville News, The Daily Journal, The Daily Messenger, and friends like you, we once again broke our attendance record from the preceding year.

We owe the success of the weekend to our supporters - the bands, our sponsors and vendors, but most importantly to those of you that came out and drank beer to help our local charities. Thank you.

We also owe a great debt of gratitude to those volunteers that assisted us throughout the weekend, including the set-up crew, the t-shirt crew, Esso Club Staff, the take down crew and everyone else that we may have missed (bear with us, we are still a little hung-over).

Check the website later this week when we finally come out of our beer induced comas and Lindsay finishes counting the 1$ bills for updates on our attendance, expected financial performance, and photos. If you happened to take any pictures of the weekend, and wish to share them, please send an email to jrakey@clemson.edu so Justin can make arrangements to acquire them.

Thanks again for all of your support, and check back with us soon to see the new photo gallery section of the website and to find out just how much we are able to donate to our charitable organizations.

                                                                                    Sincerely,

                                                                                    The RPAA Board of Directors
